About Nickistry
We Take Naming Things Very Seriously.
Nickistry started with an argument about what to call a cousin, then a boat, then an office printer that jammed every Tuesday. We got tired of guessing, so we started writing the answers down. Now it’s a growing collection of nicknames for people, pets, and pretty much anything else that needed a better name.
What We’re Building
Nickistry is a library of nicknames for the people in your life, the pets that ignore you, and the teams, group chats, and objects that ended up needing a name better than the one they started with.
Every nickname on the site sits under one of three categories: Personal Nicknames, Funny and Creative Names, and Animal and Group Names. We stick to names people would actually use.
